I forgot about this place. Tasteful, understated, but I do not agree with all the purple.

Last night was eventful. I hung out with two of my girl friends for a bit then went to Shannon's house. Then we all went to hotbox her bathroom even though her parents were home, which in hindsight is really dumb. But anyways it was really good and I was really far gone (I'm a lightweight) but Shannon hadn't eaten all day and she started freaking out. She passed out and then started going in and out of conciousness and these weird shivering, shaking, heavy breathing fits. We were all too messed to know what to do so we just kinda held her and gave her water.
It was a good time regardless. She got better once we started watching Labyrinth which is a crazy trippy movie. David Bowie wears tights and these effing goblins creep me out.
Then all the boys left and we watched Legally Blonde cause Shannon didn't want to fall asleep and die or something.
The actual New Year was lame. We missed it by a few seconds and we were preoccupied with Shannon anyways...

Good times though. I'm a bit burnt out and hope my parents don't think my dress smells or anything.

I celebrated yesterday: I got candy, gum, clothes, a guidebook for Morocco, a guitar stand, a magazine and some other random nice stuff. My family doesn't go over the top or anything and I'm getting a lot of money anyways for my trip next year.

Which by the way: Morocco looks too fantastic, and hot. I need some skirts and stuff.
I love Value Village. I bought all my fam's gifts there!

Skiing was AWESOME. Lake Louise has these awesome bowls with so much powder and it's great. I really scratched up my skis though cause there were many rocks, but we are tuning them now so it'll be ok. I did my edges all by myself so props to myself

I had race camp today and got a snazzy sweater. My team this year is fun

I'm tired, just had relatives over and such. I need to go catch up on how everyone else's holidays were!

So I am off to Canmore tomorrow and the whole house is busy with packing, tuning skis etc. I am going to ski at Lake Louise, Sunshine and Norquay (Banff). I am so excited! Minus the whole family part. My cousins and nina will be there, which is alright but they can get annoying.
Today I had no school cause the ski team was up at Mt St Louis. It was nice.

Well I just wanted to say Merry Christmas (and happy Hanukah) and whatever else you may celebrate! May your parents and friends bless you with many gifts.
I woke up at 6, so now I am going to die sleep in my bed:)

Are never as good as you expect.
But it's ok.
I got some cinnamon buns from my friend and my other friend gave me some pictures she printed from the Zombie Walk and there's a cool one of me. My parents bought me dessert and I made pancakes.
The concert was alright, I wore this reallly naked dress that was strapless and basically I had to make sure I didn't flash everyone in hte audience. I had a solo, it was good. Hoorah.

It's this amazing place with FREE stuff. people donate stuff from movie sets or just old junk and it's all organized and you can just TAKE IT.
It is an art kid's fantasy. I'm excited.
I need to make homemade christmas presents...what to make for a 23 year old man? and a 16 year old boy? Brothers are hard.

To make Sock Puppets. I am doing 2 upcoming projects involving sock puppets. hah now you can't tell that I am a terrible actress!
Lionel Conacher is the best Canadian athlete of the first half of the 1900s. I'm doing him for a project, but not DOING him more just researching him because he is dead and yeah. He played: hockey, baseball, rugby, wrestling, boxing, lacrosse and running. What a beast! I made his sock puppet outof a big wooly sock, kinda like he is a big wooly man I guess.

I went to the climate change rally on the Global Day of Action (saturday) which was in protest of how crap Canada is about bringing change and right now they are in Bali ruining everything. It makes me SO angry. It was freezing and a crap day but I managedand got a sign and it was fun. They estimated about 3000 people in Toronto and many thousands more all over the world.

I saw being John Malkovich. So GOOD! But awfully crazy. I would very much like to be a genius and make movies likethat. just like" imagine this! a portal into someone's head!

I can't stop chewing on my thing that -drawstring- i suppose, but it is yummy and I can't stop chewing it and I had to write an enlgish essay about Romeo ad juliet and stuff but man I would really just like to write an essay about how futile it is to teach Shakespeare cause man he was good but every year? So not necessary, we could be studying modern contemporary books that are just as good and probably more relevant!

Skiing was too fantastic. Blue skies, no one there, a little powder, the best hill in Ontario.
I have been dreaming of skiing for so long.
And it was so much better than school.
